Skill Requirements:
> Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
> Credentials: Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification, Gas Fitter License
> Experience: 3 - 5 years
> Languages: Read, Write & Speak English
> Major Work Area: Installation, Retrofit
> Work Setting: Residential
> Areas of Specialization: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, Humidification systems
> Specific Skills: Determine layout of systems, operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal, Cut materials using power toosl or by hand
> Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, instruct apprentices
> Essential Skills: Oral communication, working with others, problem solving, critical thinking
